Art Summer Camps 2024

For ages: 7—16 yrs


Art Program
The arts program includes a wide variety of subjects, techniques and media. Participants learn about colours, perspective, composition, light and shadow and other aspects of artistic expression. Subjects include animals, landscapes, still life and other. The projects inspire creativity and build artistic skills which go well beyond what registrants can learn in regular school classes or even in other specialized art programs. The creative and friendly atmosphere of our program stimulates kids' interactions and builds their self-confidence.

Camp organization
We are offering only half-day (9-12 AM or 1-4 PM), and full-day camps (9 AM - 4 PM) in selected weeks. Sorry, we do not offer before and after care.

Each camp session has unique art projects, so participants registered for multiple sessions always work on new art pieces.
Outdoor breaks during full-day camps
Children participating in full-day camps are taken after the lunch for a supervised outdoor break to a local school's play area (Clarkson PS). Small friendly dog may be present during the outdoor breaks.

Please provide your child with sufficient refreshments, sun screen, hat, and clothing appropriate for a hot, sunny weather.
Health and Special Needs
If your child has special needs or health issues please discuss them with our staff before submitting your registration. Please note — our program may not be able to provide a specialized care that goes beyond art instructions.
Camp Fees
Half-day camps: $275 (5-day week), $220 (4-day week). Non-refundable registration deposit: $100
Full-day camps: $550 (5-day week), $440 (4-day week). Non-refundable registration deposit: $200

Deposit is due at the time of registration.
Full fee is due no later than 24 hours before the start of the camp

Recommended Snacks and Lunches (provided by parents)
Full-day camps: Liquid refreshments, nuts-free lunch.
Half-day camps: Liquid refreshments.
Bottles should be clearly labeled with the registrant's name.

Please inform us about any allergies your child may have.

Please remind your child regularly not to share any eatable items with other camp participants.
 

 
How to Register:

Step 1:
Submit your on-line registration (see schedule table below).

Step 2:
Submit the non-refundable registration deposit within 24 hours of your registration.
The deposit is $100 for half-day camps, and $200 for full-day camps.

Registrations without the deposit will be removed from the list after 24 hours.

A full camp fee is due at the time of registration if the registration is submitted within 24 hours of the camp's starting date.

Payment methods: e-transfer (to info@icreate.ca), cash, or cheque (pt ICREATE).
If you prefer to submit the deposit by cash or by cheque please contact us to arrange the best time for its drop off to our studio.


Step 3:

Submit the remainder of the fee no later than 24 hours day before the start of the camp.

Half-day: $175 (5-days), $120 (4-days)
Full-day: $350 (5-days), $240 (4-days)

Cancellations, Refunds, Missed Days

Cancellation of the camp registration can be made no later than 24 hours before the start of the camp, but we greatly appreciate being informed about it as far in advance as possible as our camp space is very limited, so we may have others on the waiting list.

If you submitted the full camp payment but subsequently made a cancellation, a refund of the camp's fee less the non-refundable deposit will be issued only if we received the cancellation notice at least 24 hours before the start of the camp. Please make sure to contact us directly (e.g. by phone) to ensure that we are aware of your cancellation request if it is being submitted very close to the camp's starting date.

The registration deposit is final and non-refundable. The deposit cannot be credited or transferred to other programs.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the camp, on the camp's starting date, or at any time during the camp's period are not eligible for a refund of any part of the camp's fee.

Any days missed during the camp are not eligible for a refund, credit, or rescheduling.

iCreate art studio reserves the right to cancel any of the camp sessions if the number of registrations is too low. Registrants will be informed about session cancellation no later than 7 days before its start date. Registrants will be able to choose a full refund including the deposit, or registration for another available date.

Health Preventive Measures

  • By submitting a camp registration parent/guardian agrees to fully adhere to our health preventive measures.
  • Refunds or credits will not be issued to anyone who, for any reason, is unable to adhere to our health preventive measures.


Facial masks

Masks are optional.


Entering the studio

Only camp participants and iCreate staff members can enter the studio. Parents/guardians dropping off or picking up their children are asked to remain in the hallway.
Please note - parents/guardians are welcome to briefly view the studio at the start of the first day of the camp.


Check your child daily before coming to the camp for any symptoms of respiratory conditions listed below.


Do not bring your child to the camp if:

1) The child shows any symptoms of respiratory conditions.

The child can attend the remaining camp days only it has fully recovered from the condition.


2) The child, or any of its household members test positive for COVID-19.

The child must not attend the camp for any of the remaining days.

The child can be registered and attend other camp sessions only when it and its household members have fully recovered, and test negative for COVID-19. No credit applies for days missed in earlier camps due to illness.



List of symptoms to check for before each iCreate art class:
  •  Fever or chills
  •  Cough
  •  Shortness of breath
  •  Decreased or loss of taste or smell
  •  Sneezing, runny nose or nasal congestion
  •  Headache
  •  Extreme fatigue
  •  Sore throat
  •  Muscle aches or joint pain
  •  Gastrointestinal symptoms (such as vomiting or diarrhea)

We kindly ask for a full adherence to the above listed preventive measures - the health and wellbeing of our students, their families, and our community is in our hands.
